I had an article about sailing blogs published in the newest issue of LI Sail!

I wrote this about a year ago, shopped it around, and finally LI Sail said yes. LI Sail is a fairly new online-only magazine that covers pretty much anything that happens on the water around LI (in one of the issues you'll see an article about winter sailing in Babylon - I did not sail that day).

My article's in the July 2010 issue. You can find it HERE.

And if that doesn't work try clicking on the July issue HERE

Once the magazine opens you'll see a table of contents on the left side. It's in the form of a drop-down menu. Or you can "flip" to the table of contents and just click on the article. Flip pages by clicking the bottom corner of the direction you want to go (right for forward, left for back).

I have a few iPhone articles planned (weather, gps, and "other"). Any suggestions about what you'd like to read about?

I was disappointed to see no Long Island sailing blogs mentioned. Nice piece otherwise...congratulations!

Excellent point! Dang. How could I be so blind! Maybe a followup article could hit some of the locals...

Well, to be fair the editor should have said to you "hey this is great...how about adding a little local flavor?"

BTW it's not like I'm not a fan of the blogs you mentioned. Many of us are friends.
